While most of us haven’t seen the inside of the FedEx Forum since the latter year NBA lockout, the arena has continued to pack the house with various schedules of events for in-town Memphis residents to enjoy. One of those include the 2012 Winter Jam Tour Spectacularcoming up next month.

The concert is the largest alternative music event. The tour is usually headlined by founders and Grammy music group NewSong. Winter Jam earmarks the start of first quarter concerts–happening in March when weather and summer line-ups begin to formulate.

Features to the concert include: Sanctus Real, Peter Furler, Kari Jobe, Building 429, Group 1 Crew, illusionist Brock Gill and national speaker Nick Hall. In addition, the OneVerse Pre-Jam Party will include performances from Dara Maclean, For King & Country and We As Human. VeggieTales’ Bob and Larry will also make a special appearance [1]

The event is scheduled for Friday March 2nd, 2012 at 6PM.

Metro 67 residents can make a free Friday date out of it. The event is free (with a $10 donation suggestion) and residents are walking distance from the venue (no parking fees or gas spent)
